'Flaky' toilet roll holder

I've recently finished university and so in the near future I think I'll have a number of house warming parties to attend. With forward planning, which only happens when I don't have much else on (I'm still looking for a job), I've decided to start making some house warming gifts now, and what better gift to give, and recieve, than a novelty toilet roll holder?

The other day I went to one of my friends houses (who will definately be moving soon) to watch Happy Tree Friends, which is where my inspiration for this came from. It's Flaky, the dandruff ridden hedgehog!

Here is a rough pattern, which probably won't be accurate, but I'll fix it once I do another toilet roll holder, which I'm planning to do.

Chain 2, 8 dc in first chain, slip stitch to 1st dc.
Chain 3, 2dc in each dc, slip stitch to last chain.
Chain 3, *dc in first 2 dc, 2dc in next dc* repeat and slip stitch to last chain.
Chain 3, *dc in first 3 dc, 2dc in next dc* repeat and slip stitch to last chain.
Chain 3, work in back loops, 1 dc in each dc, slip stitch to last chain.
Chain 3, 1 dc in each dc, slip stitch to last chain and repeat until adequate length is obtained.

Then I cut out felt shapes and embroidered the eyes, then sewed them on, used a latch hook to create the spikes and glued on small bits of white wool for the dandruff.
