Go For Baroque

Ooooh, my first proper crocheted item of clothing (hats and scarves don't count!)

It's 'Go For Baroque' from the Happy Hooker and is made from 4 Ply cotton from Bendigo Woolen Mills, it's lovely and soft, and gives a little bit of warmth. It took me a few weeks, and I even wove in the ends and blocked it (first blocking attempt) pretty much straight away. I think I need to put a bit of starch around the neck or something though because it's a little floppy there but other than that I'm really happy with it. Now just to wait until the summer when I'll get a chance to wear it!

Hey that actually looks really nice! How long did that take you?
Is Bendigo Cotton hard to work with?

Sorry for all the questions...

Thanks! Don't worry about the questions, it's nice to get feedback! I think it took me about three weeks, and I was working on it in front of the tv most of the time. The cotton was pretty easy to work with and nice and soft, I used a 3.5mm hook and it all went pretty smoothly. There are a couple of little mistakes in there, but I'm not going to point them out!
