Completed Wisp

Hooray, I've finished my Wisp. Once I got into it, the knitting wasn't too bad, so I'm probably going to try and knit some more projects in the future.

It's from the Knitty pattern Wisp, made with some random mohairy like op-shop yarn which I think is acrylic.
Here's a picture of it all spread out blocking on my new blocking mat.

I like the wisp! Looks nice and floaty and perfect for winter. Where did you get that ace blocking board?

great idea for a blocking board! and you can pack it up nice and small too. next time i see those squares at the op shop I'm going to pick some up. speaking of which, I was wondering if you knew about Melbourne's collaborative op shopping blog 'I op therefore I am'

http://melb-opshopping.blogspot.com/

there are links there to maps and addresses of Melbourne's op shops. let me know if you are interested in joining.

regards, Amelia

librarylass - I think I got the blocking board at a $2 Up shop, it was about $17. I really bought it on the day I finished the Wisp and wanted to block it. It's pretty handy because it's modular and I can rearrange the squares to the size of whatever I'm blocking.

Amelia - I'm going to check out that site, thanks!
