Fishy Photos

When I was at university I had to do lots of work experience during my holidays (so I didn't really get that many holidays!). Anyway, I managed to go to the aquarium quite a bit which was lots of fun, particularly when I got there before it opened and I could go behind the scenes and everything. Anyway, here are some of my favourite photos.

For some reason, I've always thought sharks were really cool and misunderstood. This little one was cute, and I kind of wanted to pat him, but I didn't.

Oh that shark is totally cute! I've patted a shark at our Underwater World her in Perth (now named 'Aqua' Pheh =P) but it was only little and cute like this. It was a Port Jackson shark I think? Is that a real type of shark? Anyway, it felt so nice kind of like sandpaper but smooth at the same time...tres cool! =)

Those are gorgeous pictures! I haven't been to underwater world since I was a wee thing, and while I totally disagree with you on the shark thing (major phobia of the creatures) that shark picture is a good one.

coolness!

Yeah, a Port Jackson shark is real. They have those cool spiral eggs which lodge into crevices and stuff. I think this was a little seven gill shark but I could be completely wrong.

I went to Aqua in Perth. It was pretty cool, I remember the fake crocodile that moved. Hee Hee

Glad you like the shark picture even though you don't like sharks librarylass! I guess they're not the most loveable creature.
